He was predeceased by: his father David Ripple; and his aunt Merry. He is survived by: his mother Terry Ripple (Meador) of Decatur; his wife Jenny A. Crockett of Bethany, IL; his children, Wade Ripple (Elizabeth Potter) of Decatur, Jasmine Duncan of Sullivan and Tucker Duncan of Sullivan; his brother Todd Ripple (Jenny) of Decatur; his grandson Lincoln Hartman Ripple of Decatur; his father-in-law Michael Crockett of Sullivan, IL; and his nieces and nephews, Reed Ripple (Alex), Jake Ripple, Mitch Ripple, Kaylin Questermous (Joe) and Jordan Questermous. He is also survived by his brother, his son, and many close friends.

Memorials may be made to Crohn's – Colitis Foundation or to his grandson's Lincoln's Educational fund.
