She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence E. Baker and Rosa O. Baker (Mozley); her spouse John F. Simpson, Jr; her sons, Mike Simpson and Jim Simpson; her siblings, Charles, Robert, Clarence Baker, Rosa JoAnn Macias and Jean Lucas; and her sister-in-law Margaret Baker.
She is survived by: her children, Dannie Simpson, Rhonda Tobias (Ed) and Karen McKinzie (Pastor Terry); and her sister Sandy Moody. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hearts Harvest Church.
