It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonja M McFarlin (Bethalto, Illinois), born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on April 20, 2018, at the age of 41, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Dan P. Leggett, Johnny McFarlin and Edith McFarlin (James); and her great-grandparents, Oliver L. and Grace B. Roberts (Sterling).
She is survived by: her parents, Alge "Mack" and Vickie McFarlin (Leggett); her grandmother Lola V. Leggett (Sterling) of Bethalto; her brother Shawn McFarlin; and her aunts and uncles, Danny Leggett (Marian) of Oxford, MS, Jerry McFarlin (Vickie) of Markem, IL, Jo Handy of Alvin, TX and Christine Turk of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
