He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulysses G. Jones and Christine Eisch Jones; his wife Margaret Louise King; and his siblings, Analee Kennet, Evelyn Theis, Louise Spray, Loretta Turner and Delbert Jacobs.

He is survived by: his granddaughter Kelly Garrard (Michael) of Robinson, IL; and his great grandchildren, Hunter and Genevieve Garrard.
