It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rubert Cauley Jr. (Bethalto, Illinois), born in Wood River, Illinois, who passed away on June 2, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rubert Cauley and Lorene Cauley (Buttry); his wife Susan "Rose" Cauley (McConnell); his daughters, Christine Ann (Lyle Buettner) and Jennifer Rana (Brian Oleson); his grandchildren, Luke, Cynthia (Logan Buettner), Melyssanda and Harley (Adam Oleson); his sister Mary; his brother-in-law Ray Welch of Brighton; his sister Laverne; and his siblings-in-law, Palmer Lasswell of Godfrey and Cathy Rubemeyer. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
