He was predeceased by: his brother Lonnie Evans; his parents, Velma Evans and Ernest Evans; his brother Ernest Rodell Evans; his wife JoAnn Cole Evans; and his brother-in-law Robert Schoene.
He is survived by: his daughter Julie; his son-in-law Ron Twichell; his sister Juanita Schoene; his close friend Brenda Law; his stepson Michael Cole (Angela); his sisters-in-law, Beverly Evans and Rollynda Morrow; and his former wife Ann Chandler. He is also survived by nephew, nieces, cousins.
Memorial donations may be given to the 5 A's animal shelter in Alton.
