He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward C. Wulf and Dorothy Zalsman; his brother Norbert Snyder; and his grandsons, Michael Kirk and Jimmy Kirk.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Snyder of Bethalto, IL; and his children, Kenny Kirk (Jan), Wesley Kirk (Sharon Overstreet), David Kirk (Tammy), Mona Wald (Jay) and Roxann Dempsey (Kenny Walden). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
