He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edwards and Florence Edwards (Hill); and his daughter Sherry Forsythe. He is survived by: his wife Edith Edwards; his son Gary Edwards (Rhonda) of Cottage; his stepson John Rose of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; his stepsister Marilyn Phillips; and his aunt Anita Edwards of Coulterville, Illinois. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
