Podner (Bethalto, Illinois), born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on August 4, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred A Jacobs and Minnie Jacobs (Scoggins); and her husband Sam Podner. She is survived by: her sons, Ron Bowman of Bethalto and Samuel "Barney" (Donna Podner); her grandchildren, Erin (Brandon Austin), Sara (Jordan Evans), Josh Bowman and Jacob Bowman; and her great grandchildren, Ava Austin and Hannah Evans. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to Meadowbrook 1st Southern Baptist Church.
