He was predeceased by: his brother Corey Curtis; and his grandparents, Richard "Sarge" Curtis, Gilbert D. Harris, Julia Henson-Harris and Robert Bussey.

He is survived by: his parents, Christine Curtis of Fenton and David Curtis; his friend Elizabeth "Liz" Curtis of Fenton; his brother Casey Curtis (Ashley) of Wichita; his grandmother Elisabeth "Lisa" Curtis of Bethalto; his aunt Brenda Gibbons (Dave) of Bethalto; his uncles, Raymond Curtis (Melanie) of Dupo, Gregory Harris of Athens and Frank Janoski of St. Louis; his nephew Blaine Curtis; and also, Alex Curtis, Amelia Johnson, Sydney Curtis, Lexi Curtis, Joe Gibbons, Julie Gibbons, Morgan McNamara of Bethalto and Mackenzie Morgan (Travis) of St. Louis.
