She was predeceased by: her parents, Saturnino Carmona and Gavina Carmona (Trevino); her son Robert; and her siblings, Pat, Rachel, Emilio, Ben and Rudy.

She is survived by: her husband James Stephenson; her daughters, Rachel Shewmake (David) of Benton, MO, Lori Guess (Donald) of Moro, IL and Julie Stewart (Wayne) of Bethalto, IL; and her granddaughter Dolores Gross.
