She is survived by: her parents, Harley Bridges and Ethel Ann Bridges (Kohl); her spouse Edward John Newa Jr.; her children, Helen Ann Peterson, Julia Duckels (Dean) of Cottage Hills and Joseph Newa (Lynn) of Little Rock, AR; her brother Alvin Bridges (Pat); her grandchildren, Aaron, David and Justin; and her sister Alice.
