Mary L. Svoboda Obituary

We bid farewell to Mary L. Svoboda of Bethalto, Illinois, born in Zeigler, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 24, 2024 at the age of 85. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Haney and Della Haney (Clark); her husband Carl F. Svoboda; her siblings, Betty Hardesty, Bob Haney and Roy Haney; and her brother-in-law Jim Cohea.

She is survived by: her son Brian Harshbarger (Kim) of Edwardsville; and her siblings, Kay Agard of Godfrey and Fred Haney (Nancy) of Godfrey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
