It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Louise Layton (Bethalto, Illinois), born in Dexter, Missouri, who passed away on December 11, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Perrigan and Margaret Perrigan (Hudgens); her husband James Franklin Layton; and her siblings, Billy Perrigan, JoAnn Leanard and Shirley Ellis.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Groshong, Carol Hartline, Robert Layton, Debora Layton, Janet Webb, Ronald Layton (Donna) and Glenn Layton. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
