He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Cooper and Jenny Cooper (Bird); and his siblings, Orville Cooper, Willis Cooper, Ray Cooper, Roy Cooper and Myrln Johnson-Meffert.
He is survived by: his spouse Mary A. Cooper (Manns); his children, Glenn Cooper (Debra) of Dorsey, Timothy Cooper (Janine) of Moro and Cynthia Cooper of Bethalto; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Cooper of North Carolina, Goldie "Trink" Marshall of Edwardsville and Alma Cooper of Moro. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
