He is survived by: his wife Laurie Mooney; his brothers, Kevin Scherff (Doreen) and Dennis Scherff (Suzanne); his daughter Mackenzie Lu Scherff; his stepchildren, Heather Cummings (Steven), Michael Ettinger (Tiffany), Zachary Ettinger and Samantha Candelaria (Jessica); and his granddaughter Audrey Ettinger. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
