He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dorothy Lamm and Jack Holcomb. He is survived by: his sons, Douglas (Dayle) and Bradley (Wes); his grandchildren, Jason Holcomb (Cheryl), Phillip Holcomb (Ioana) and Michelle Holcomb; his great grandchildren, Lauren, Lily, Jack and Rozalia; his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Holcomb and Gloria Kunz; his spouse Jean Holcomb; and also Robert Potts (Bob).
