It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Howard J. Antrobus Sr. of Bethalto, Illinois, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Howard and Blanche Ellen Antrobus (Craft). He is survived by: his wife Mary A. Robeen; his children, Howard J. "Peewee" Antrobus, Jr. of Jerseyville, Mary Humphrey (Dewayne) of Jackson, MO, Rick Antrobus (Glynda) of Alton and Lisa Schultze (Shane) of Alton; and his sisters, Janet Bryant of Wood River, Jean Oats of Godfrey and Sharon Flowers of Alton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Homes - Bethalto (727 E Bethalto Blvd, Bethalto, IL 62010). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
