He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kruse and Minnie Kruse; his son Rick Kruse; his children-in-law, Gail Kruse and Dan Connoyer; his granddaughter Kimberly Stack; and his siblings, Floyd Kruse and Dorothy Gvillo.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Feilbach; his children, Judy Henschen (Lawrence) of Alhambra, CoAnn Connoyer of Midway, Michael Kruse (Vicki) of Midway and Donna Stack (Jim) of Collinsville; his siblings, Don Kruse (Nancy) of Moro, Anna Mae Schoenbaum (Hilmer) of Moro and Shirley Thomason (Cecil) of Bismarck; and his sister-in-law Darlene Kruse of Alton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and their spouses, twenty great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's UCC Church-Midway or to the Prairietown Volunteer Fire Department.
