He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lawrence and Hazel Young (Marco); and his siblings, Ida Ventimilia and Dale Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Gracie Young of Bethalto, IL; and his siblings, Larry Young (Compnaion) and Margie Hunt of Franklin, IL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
