He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Simmons and Edna Simmons (Beckell); his wife Marietta Simmons of Bethalto; his stepgrandchildren, Alexandria, Zachary Pruitt, Samantha, Leahna Starr, Christian and Ethan Sandberg; and also, Tim, Jana Pruitt, Stephanie and Craig Sandberg of Alton.
