She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Crowe and Frenchie Crowe (Marler); her husband Eugene A. Kappler; and her sisters, Leotta McConnell and Clara Crowe.
She is survived by: her sons, Harold Kappler (Julie) of Bethalto, Mike Kappler (Cheryl) of Bethalto and Roger Kappler of Bethalto; her nephew Bruce McConnell of Dardanelle, AR; her great-nieces, Beth, Stephanie and Susan; and also, Kevin Kappler (Bernie), Lisa Vogel (Tim), Kristin Harris (Keith), Kaity Kappler, Thomas Kappler (Nicole), Amy Oller and Kyle Kappler (April). She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
