She was predeceased by: her parent Floyd O.; and her sisters, Donna Cafazza and Pat Courto. She is survived by: her parent Elsie R. Chapman (Newton); her spouse Howard Richard Heffner; her daughter-in-law Jeffrey Heffner; her grandchildren, Austin Heffner and Ellie Heffner; and also, Christina Heffner of Bethalto and Mark Heffner (Jessie) of St. Louis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
