He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Sr. Kaufman and Theresa Kaufman; and his brother John Kaufman. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Hunt; his daughters, Michelle Douthat of Madison Heights, VA and Angela Kaufman of Bethalto; and his granddaughters, Amanda and Elizabeth Douthat.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Homes - Bethalto (727 E Bethalto Blvd, Bethalto, IL 62010). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home (727 E Bethalto Blvd, Bethalto, IL 62010). A Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (132 Butcher St, Bethalto, IL 62010).
