She is survived by: her parents, John Richard "Dick" and Marian Neerman McDermott; her close friend Michael "Mike" Joseph Ridge of Berwyn; her siblings, John Richard McDermott, Jr. (Barb) of Peoria, Michael "Muggs" Edward McDermott (Denise) of Oak Park, Kevin Neerman McDermott of Springfield, Martha "Cooky" Louise McDermott of Springfield, Maureen "Bubby" Lynn Wayne (Travis) of Holland, MI and John Peter "Pete" McDermott of Evanston; her nieces and nephews, Jennifer Creasey (Justin), Molly Dower (Patrick), Kaitlyn McDermott, Margaret Metzger (Scott), Bridget Tucic (Peter), John McDermott, Chris Wayne (Sarah), Sarah Wayne, Grace Spinozzi (Nick), Jack McDermott, Wilson McDermott and Kate McDermott; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Mac, Quinn, Henry, Clara Jane, Lydia, Ivy, Jack and Beau.
