She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Perez; her father Antonio Vega; and her brother Anthony Vega. She is survived by: her son Michael E. Perez I (Millie); her grandchildren, Ariya J. Perez and Michael E. Perez II; her mother Iden P. Segarra; and her sisters, Iris M. Bryk (David) and Alicia Vega-Gonzalez (Ruben). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, godchildren and many cousins, aunts, uncles and lifelong friends.

A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (7750 W Cermak Rd, Forest Park, IL 60130).
