She was predeceased by: her husband Elijah Barnes; her child Freddie Lee Barnes; her mother Evie Earnest; her granddaughter Sandra Finley; and her sisters, Queen Kent (Ester) and Grace Leonard (late Leroy).
She is survived by: her children, Bertha M. Finley and Robert E. Barnes (Eyvonne); her grandchildren, Rhonda Finley, Michael Finley (Rebekah), Harriett Morrison (Terry), Robert Barnes Jr. (Laura), Mariam Barnes, Victoria Marie Barnes and Rene Eddings (Raynard); her great grandchildren, Carl Pough, Antoine Finley, Ashley Wicks (John), Anaia Finley, Mikah Finley, Mason Finley, Meiah Finley, Matthew Morrison (Taylor), Monica Morrison, Robert Barnes III, Taylor Barnes, Tia Harris, Kendall Schmedes, Tyler Lawrence, Jacob Lawrence, Rheya Raychelle and Ryan Eddings; and her great great grandchildren, London Lockhart, Jayden Wicks, Ashton Wicks, Kaylen Wicks, Damari, Dayana, Xavier and Davon Harris.
