He is survived by: his wife Mary "Ginger" of Virginia; his children, Joseph McMahon, Andrea Perrotta (Joseph) and Theresa Carter (Dale); his grandchildren, Luke, Jude Perrotta, Christopher, Caroline and William Carter; and his siblings, Robert (late Patricia), John (Margaret) and Thomas (late Nancy).

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate masses be said for Laurence.
