It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter E. Trapper of Benton, Illinois, who passed away on July 23, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Trapper and Kathleen Trapper (McKinney); and his siblings, Barbara Pierson, Angie Swigget and Charles Trapper.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Walden; his son Steve; his daughter-in-law Diana Trapper of Thompsonville, IL; his daughter Michele Leigh of Wolcott, IN; and his sister Theresa Trapper. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorials may be made in memory of Walter, to Residential Hospice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
