It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Winston Sheridan Ortner Jr. (Benton, Illinois), born in Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on February 6, 2018, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Winston and Donna Mae Ortner (Johnson); and his son Thomas Franklin Ortner. He is survived by: his significant other Samantha Lynn Willis of Benton; his children, Angelena Ortner of Benton, Sherri Lukasik of Benton, Allie Ortner of Benton, Sheridan James Ortner of Benton and Ava Marie Ortner of Benton; his grandchildren, Layla Wasik, Blaine Wasik, Adam J. Wasik and Frank Lukasik; and his sisters, Kathy Pendergrass of Menden, MI, Sherry Ortner of Madeira Beach, FL, Robin Rogers Kirby of Peoria, IL and Valerie Ortner of Whittington, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
