Ruth Ann Meister Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Ann Meister of Benton, Illinois, who passed away on June 2, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Emil Schaefer and Adelia Schaefer (Anderson); her husband Vernon Meister; her brothers, Clyde and Harvey Schaefer; her siblings-in-law, Frederick Meister of Waterloo, IL, Geri Schaefer of Waterloo, IL and Marilynn Schaefer of Waterloo, IL; her daughters, Annette McCoy (David) of Benton, IL, Lori Wilburn of Benton, IL and Denise Richardson of Macedonia, IL; and her grandchildren, Melanie Barnfield, Jonathan McCoy, Abby Wilburn, Daniel Richardson and Caleb Richardson. She was also cherished by six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
