He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lucille Rice, Dorothy Mayberry, Charles Rice, Dudley Rice and Joseph Rice.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Orr (David) of Plant City, FL, Lori Cairns (Floyd) of Thompsonville, IL and Trace Hobbs (John) of Bennington; and his sister-in-law Jane Hartley (George). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Immanuel Baptist Church (Building Fund) of Benton, IL.
