With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew A. Hoffsuemmer of Benton, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 13, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathew Hoffsuemmer and Elisabeth Hoffsuemmer (Scheibel); his wife Carol Brookman; his son Russell Hoffsuemmer; and his granddaughter Debra.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia "Pat" Miller (John) of Morgantown, KY, Michele Schweizer (Bill) of Rochelle, IL, Barbara "Barbi" Dragoo (Scott) of St. Louis, MO and Randy Hoffsuemmer (Janet) of Brooksville, FL. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
