He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Powenski and Helen Powenski (Shibovich); his wife Merlene Eickleman; and his siblings, Rose, Ann, John, Stanley, Mike, Louis and Leo.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Powenski of Benton, IL and Mike Powenski (Cindy) of Johnston City, IL; his grandchildren, John Gouge, Jr. (Rebecca) of Kalamazoo, MI, Adam Gouge of Iowa and Natosha Plumlee (Bryan) of Valier, IL; and his great grandchildren, Ava, Aiden, Deacon, Michael, Faith, Castiel and Nyla.
Memorial contributions in memory of Marion may be made to the Benton Healthcare Resident Activity Fund, and will be accepted at the Leffler Funeral Home, 401 East Main Street, Benton, IL 62812.
