He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Toms and Alice Toms (Miller); his former wife Velma Imogene Thorpe; and his siblings, Clifton Toms, Edward Toms, Jim Toms, Charles Toms, Joseph Toms, Jr., Aline Rice, Delores Yvonne Pitchford and Virginia Wingate.
He is survived by: his friends, Sally Revis, Rodney Sailliez, Jason Revis and Tracy Saffelder; his wife Shirley Toms of Harrisburg, IL; his great grandchild Alyssa Sailliez of Benton; his nephew James Toms, Jr. (Jane) of Logan; and his friends, Charles and Catherine Wiggs of Benton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the West City Church of God, and will be accepted at the graveside service on Saturday; or can be mailed to the Leffler Funeral Home of Benton.
