He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Payne and Veneta Ruth Payne (Whetstone); and his sister Roberta Eldridge. He is survived by: his wife Paula Swisher of Benton; his son Cory Payne of Olympia, Washington; and his nephews, Brian (Terry Steinmetz) and Shady.
