It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl W. Stipes of Benton, Illinois, born in West Frankfort, Illinois, who passed away on November 12, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kellis Carl Stipes, Jr. and Lucille Stipes (Fritts). He is survived by: his wife Judy Stipes of Benton, IL; and his children, Rora Luttrell (William) of Wilmington, IL, Sal Reyes (Kerry) of Cary, IL, Mark Reyes, Roberta Carlson of Pennsylvania and Cindy Lou Elizado of San Antonio, TX. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Benton, and will be accepted at the funeral home.
