It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Bennett of Benton, Illinois, who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Utley and Essie Utley (Lunsford); and her brother Kenny Utley. She is survived by: her husband Ernest James "Jim" Bennett of Benton, Illinois; her daughter Tina Lampley (Roger Lampley) of Benton, Illinois; her grandsons, Ben Lampley (Courtney) of Melbourne, Florida and Steven Lampley of Benton, Illinois; her brother Bob Utley (Patti) of Sesser, Illinois; and her in-laws, Diane Utley of Christopher, Lynda Sanchez of Benton, Marlene Webb of Benton, Kingsley Bennett (Cathy) of Ewing and Rodney Bennett of Evansville, Indiana.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Leffler Funeral Home (401 E Main St, Benton, IL 62812). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
