Onnen of Benson, Illinois, born in Secor, Illinois, who passed away on January 9, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Dirks and Mary Dirks (Itzen); her husband Lester F. Onnen; and her brother Louis Dirks. She is survived by: her son Fred Onnen (Amy) of Benson; her granddaughters, Sara DeGraff of Gibson City and Jenny Masters of Roanoke; her great grandchildren, Elijah Masters of Roanoke, Amy Gayle Masters of Roanoke and Charlotte DeGraff; and her nephew Ray Dirks (Barb) of El Paso.
Memorial contributions in Leona's honor may be made to St Peter Lutheran Church, Apostolic Christian Home of Roanoke or a charity of the donor's choice.
