David G. Moritz Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David G. Moritz of Benson, Illinois, who passed away on May 21, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David Moritz and Cassie Reinken Moritz; and his siblings, Wesley and Betty Hodel. He is survived by: his wife Orpha Yoder; his children, Scott Moritz (Janet) of Mooresville, IN and Teri Gauwitz (Tom) of Roanoke, IL; his grandchildren, Ashley Moritz, Tabitha Wagner (Mark), Trista Hanauer (Rob) and Tim Gauwitz; his great grandchild Carter Moritz; his grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan, Emma and Ellie Hanauer; and his sister Gloria Punke of Benson.
