She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Scherer and Mary Ellen Scherer. She is survived by: her husband Richard R. Parent; her children, Richard C. Parent (Jennifer) and Stephanie A. Lacamera (Matthew); her grandchildren, Ethan, Noah, Jay, MIkey and Leo; and her sisters, Laura, Charlotte and Tracy.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Geils Funeral Home (180 S York Rd, Bensenville, IL 60106). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Mary Queen of Heaven Church (426 West Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
