Charles Abrell Obituary
Charles "Chuck" Gene Abrell, 66, retired Machine Repair Specialist, passed away Monday, September 21, 2020. Chuck was born in Chicago March 15, 1954. Chuck enjoyed his visits from family and close friends as well as his phone conversations with lifelong friends including those from grammar school in Alabama. He will be missed by many close and far.
Survived by his wife of 23 years: Julie nee Legowski; his sons: Kyle and Philip; and newly born grandson: Miles; Mother-in-law and friend: Sandra (Sandy-girl or Sand Storm) (Mark); Father-in-law: James (Susie) Legowski; Aunts: MaryJo Abrell and Marie Naselli; siblings: Dotty (Rick) Yaccobucci, Eddie (Michelle) Guinn, and Machelle (Marc) Fagiano; Godson and nephew: Tony Fagiano; Nephews: Ryan and Jordan Guinn, Michael Yaccobucci, Danny, Ben, Lucas, and Jacob Legowski, Nieces Cara Yaccobucci, Morgan Guinn and Brittney Legowski; as well as many in-laws (Legowski's and Bach's); cousins: (Paoli's and Nasselli's); and his beloved guitars.
Preceded in death by his parents: Leo Paul Abrell and Margaret "Margie" Janet nee Tarantino; and Uncle Chuck's name sake, Corporal Charles Gene Abrell; and his beloved Red Ford F150. Visitation will be held at Geils Funeral Home, 180 South York Road, Bensenville, Illinois on Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 4 PM to 8 PM. Final good byes same location the following day, Friday, October 2, 2020 at 10:00 AM- 12 pm.
