He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Simmons and Rosetta Skelton Simmons; and his son Jonathan Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Simmons of Benld, IL; his sons, Frank Simmons (Patricia) of Hookerton, NC, Jason Simmons (Shelly) of Brighton, IL and Glenn Simmons (Kim) of Mt. Clare, IL; his grandchildren, Katie Jenkins, Zachary Simmons, Marc Simmons, Nicholas Simmons (Claire), Jacob Simmons, Ethan Simmons and Logan Simmons; his great grandchildren, Eleanor Jenkins and Matilda Jenkins; and his siblings, Nancy Lee Skelton of Jerseyville, IL and Robert Simmons (Donna) of Naples, FL..
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kravanya Funeral Home (308 N Main St, Benld, IL 62009). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
