It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Darlene Gilliam of Benld, Illinois, who passed away on January 26, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Foster McClain and Lillie Mae McClain (McGowin); her sons, Jerry Gilliam and Sean Gilliam; and her siblings, Marie Nance and Gene McClain.

She is survived by: her children, Cindy Crisel (John) of Benld, Ricky Gilliam (Lynne) of Gillespie, Angie Caver of Royal Lakes and Jeff Gilliam (Morgan Jesmer) of Zuni, Virginia; her brother Alan McClain of Fisk, Missouri; and her daughter-in-law Michelle Hughes of Peoria, Illinois. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
