It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Layne Albert Stauffer of Benld, Illinois, born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on September 18, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Collis Stauffer; his wife Julie Stauffer; his sister Lucinda Miller; and his children, Joshua Stauffer, Nicole Stauffer, Casey Stauffer and Cody Stauffer.
He is survived by: his former wife Lynne Williams of Litchfield, IL; his daughter Jennifer Stauffer of Litchfield, IL; his granddaughters, Alyssa Stauffer of Granite City, IL and Emma Stauffer of Litchfield, IL; and his siblings, Lynn Stauffer (Angelika), Lloyd Stauffer (Lois) and Loren Stauffer (Gail).
