He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer G. Quick and Mildred E. Brewer Quick; his former wife Nancy W. Tice; and his siblings, Lowell Quick and Lois Byerly.

He is survived by: his son Robert Lee Quick; his wife Julie of Lexington, KY; his daughter Susan Larimore; and his grandchildren, Kierstin Hartley (Michael), Andrew Quick (Maria) and Morgan Quick.
