Ethel B. Carney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethel B. Carney of Bement, Illinois, born in Chelsea, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 25, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Newt Snodgrass and Martha Ellen Snodgrass (Stelle); her husband James W. Carney; her daughter Connie S. Lynn; and her siblings, Ernie, Alden, Dean, Bill, Starlin, Cleve Snodgrass, Mae Hammond and Bonnie Jenkins.
She is survived by: her sons, Willard J. Carney (Terry) of Monticello and Clifford E. Carney (Dawn) of Bloomington; and her brother Earl Snodgrass of Alabama. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and 2 step great-great grandchildren.
The family request casual clothing be worn and proper Covid protocol be followed.
