He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur L. Burton and Eleanor Mae Burton (Handley); his daughter Marsha Floyd; and his siblings, Billy G. Burton, Richard Lee Burton and Mary Darlene Clifton.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Burton of Bement; his children, Allen Burton of Cape Coral, FL and Sharon Burton-Barcroft of Helena; and his sisters, Connie Otto of Farmer City and Carolyn Torbert of Farmer City. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
