It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William J. Denning of Belvidere, Illinois, born in Valley City, North Dakota, who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elaine Denning (Beil) and Harold "Joe" Denning; and his sister Pat Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Donna Hajek; his children, Kathy Walton (Jeff), Mike Denning (Amanda) and Matt Denning (Dina); his sister Barb Dittbenner (Don); and his grandsons, Evan Walton, Elliot Walton, Gavin Denning, Luke Denning, Jack Denning, Will Denning and Sam Denning.

In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to the family in order to support literacy, education, and substance recovery.
