She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Sunden and Mabel Sunden; her husband John L. Davis, Jr.; and her sisters, Pauline Vesta (Vernon) and Betty Ann Sunden.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Troyer (Richard), Valerie Peterson (Charles), Tanya Hulstedt (Mike) and Kristine Dickson (Bryan). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorials to Evangelical Covenant Church and Slavic Gospel Association will stand in Shirley's memory.
